Spicy Pistachio Cake-Pops

Ingredients: 

8 oz. grain bread (sliced), crumbled finely
¼ lb. of raw ham, cut into very small cubes
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
Salt
Freshly grounded pepper
¼ cup American pistachios, shelled and finely chopped

Long, sturdy wooden skewers

Instructions: 

Mix cubed ham and cream cheese with bread crumbs and add a little bit salt; season with pepper; form into 40 1-inch balls. Place finely chopped pistachios in a shallow bowl. Coat the balls with the pistachios, place on wooden skewers or sticks and serve.

Serving idea: Place the skewered cake pops into glasses filled with unshelled American pistachios.
