For Whom the Shell Tolls

1 ½ oz Blanche Armagnac
½ oz Aperol
½ oz Domain de Canton
½ oz Fresh lime juice
2 dashes Angostura bitters (optional)
Garnish: Mint, lime coin, flowers, powdered sugar

Combine all ingredients in shaker tin. Add ice and shake hard for 30 seconds. Fill pilsner glass ¾ full with ice and double strain into glass. Fill remainder of the glass with ice and add garnish. Finish by dashing bitters on top if you choose.

“Ginger, lime, and bitter orange are the driving flavors in this drink. All have a hint of sweetness but are balanced by spice or acid. The other great benefit of a drink finishing with acid is that, like wine, it causes your mouth to water which makes us (humans) want to eat. And that's when the pistachio becomes the star!”
