FRESNO, Calif., June 2, 2017---The U.S. International Trade Commission (USITC) determined today, by a unanimous vote of 5 to 0, that revoking the U.S. antidumping duty order on imports of raw in-shell pistachios from Iran would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury to the U.S. pistachio industry within a reasonably foreseeable time. Therefore, the U.S. antidumping duty order on imports of raw in-shell pistachios from Iran will therefore remain in place.

A NEW STUDY PUBLISHED IN THE BRITISH JOURNAL OF NUTRITION HIGHLIGHTS THE HEALTH BENEFITS OF EATING PISTACHIOS

Test diet reduced small and non-high-density LDL levels in those with pre diabetes

FRESNO, Calif., June 2, 2015 - A study conducted by Spanish researchers and published in the journal Nutrition, Metabolism and Cardiovascular Diseases discovered that regular pistachio consumption shifts the particle size of lipoprotein subclasses which has a beneficial effect on cardiovascular risk factors in prediabetic subjects.

Analysis of more than 20 Clinical Trials Singles Out Pistachios Benefits

FRESNO, Calif., May 28, 2015 --- Pistachio nuts, singled out among other nuts, seem to have the strongest effect on reducing blood pressure in adults.
